2006-Art Installation Prinsessetunnel in Enschede

dscn2217 In November 2006 Nautilus designed a gabion art installation between adjoining pillars of the Prinsessetunnel in Enschede. De gabions were filled with large pieces of crushed stone 100/300mm, this stone was stacked in a way to allow an open structure. Lighting was installed behind the gabions, where the open structure allowed it to permeate in a unique way, creating an interesting light effect in the tunnel.
